Wasatch Recreation Center COVID-19 Update

November 24, 2020

Please keep in mind that these restrictions are being updated

as the Governor's orders are released, so all policies are subject to frequent changes!

The Wasatch Recreation Center is open 6am-8pm Monday through Saturday

-Masks must be worn upon entering the building AND are while you are engaging in your activity.  Masks are available at the front desk upon request.

-You need to be alone or with members of your own household inside the rec center.

-Singles tennis and singles pickleball can be played with individuals outside your household.

-We will continue to symptom check upon entry and to record which area of the Rec Center you use.

-Participants in currently running programs will be contacted regarding the status of the program.

-Reservations must be made at least 2 hours prior to coming to the Rec Center (see fee schedule).  Walk-ins (an individual or members of the same household) are welcome as long as there is an open area for them to play.

-If there are no reservations, and no one in the facility, doors may close earlier than 8pm.

-As much as possible, every individual’s activities will be recorded for contact tracing.

-Patrons must be at least 15 years of age unless under the supervision of an adult 18 years or older from the same household.

-All patrons will pay the standard entry fee or use their membership.  Credit or debit card is the preferred method of payment, but cash will be accepted.

-Staff will ask patrons about Covid-19 symptoms and exposure as well as take each individual’s temperature upon entering the Rec Center.

-Staff will record the time and name of each individual entering the Rec Center indicating each patron’s acceptance of the liability waiver and commitment to adhere to all the policies.  Waiver will be posted for patrons to read.  To review the waiver beforehand, please see the Parks and Rec website www.wasatchparksandrec.com

Staff will also record the time that patrons leave the facility.

-It is recommended that high risk individuals continue to maintain high standards of social distancing regardless of these less restrictive policies.

-We ask that all patrons adhere to these restrictions for their own protection.  Failure to comply with these regulations may result in closure of the Rec Center.
